Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are pieces of information stored on a device and read during browsing. Technologies other than cookies can also store information or enable tracking. The applicable rules depend on their function and the processing involved, rather than only on the name of the technology.

The current setup

The website’s code does not set cookies or use localStorage or sessionStorage. It does not integrate analytics, advertising pixels, profiling tools, videos from external platforms or embedded maps. Images, icons and animations are delivered as part of the website’s own resources; fonts use those available on the device.

The animation control only changes the page state. Playing the introduction is not recorded as a persistent preference. The browser may independently manage caching, history and autofill according to the user’s chosen settings.

Preview keeps the settings, your choice to enable personalisation and your optional details only in the temporary page state. The checkbox concerns local use of the data and does not authorise cookies, tracking or promotional activity.

The absence of cookies does not rule out processing the technical data needed to deliver the pages and keep the website secure and operational. These matters are described in the privacy notice.

Why there is no consent banner

There are no optional tracking tools for which consent needs to be collected. Browsing is therefore not interrupted by a banner with accept or reject buttons. The Italian Data Protection Authority’s guidelines allow this information to be provided on the homepage or in the general privacy notice when only technical tools are present.

If tools requiring consent are introduced in future, they must remain inactive until the visitor makes a choice. The notice and the controls for accepting, rejecting or changing that choice must be updated to reflect the new features.

Email, WhatsApp and other links

WhatsApp is not embedded in the page: it opens when you select its link. When using the form, the wa.me address contains the prefilled text needed to open the draft. From that point, the external service’s terms and privacy notice also apply.

Email links open the mail application configured on your device. Links to legal sources or providers also lead to independent websites with their own cookie and privacy rules. None of these services is embedded to track browsing on SNIDI DIGITAL.

Settings and contact details
